I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a 10+ year focus on geriatrics. Specifically helping people help their parents navigate this current healthcare environment in the US. It seems no one thinks about their parents having a fall, injury or medical event until they wind up hospitalized and most of the decisions and responsibility falls on the children.
